Blake Garris is an Entertainment Multimedia Producer/Director for Television and the Web as well as a Freelance Interviewer/Host/Writer/Editor/Marketing Consultant who hates writing about himself in the Third Person.

Blake has been the Manager of Video & Content Production at Marvel Entertainment, Producer/Director for PBS and a Director at Comcast. He has worked in various capacities for NBC, TLC, MTV, FOX, The Food Network, Showtime, The Travel Channel, CBS Sports, NFL Films, A&E, ESPN2, The Discovery Channel, and many others.

Blake has written features for sites such as IGNAMC and Buzzgrinder amongst others.

He has interviewed actors the likes of Michael Douglas, Kristen Bell, Shia LaBeouf, Ernest Borgnine, Burt Reynolds, Chris Evans, Geena Davis, Willem Dafoe, Joe Manganiello, Norman Reedus, Jordan Peele, Lea Thompson and David Tennant to musicians such as Katy Perry, Nas, Wyclef Jean, Henry Rollins, Method Man, Steve Aoki, Death Cab for Cutie, Owl City, My Morning Jacket, Taking Back Sunday, The Hold Steady and many more.

Blake received his Master’s Degree in Media Arts and has been an Adjunct Professor of Television Production and New Media.

He received an Emmy nomination in 2007 and his documentaries have been featured in numerous film festivals.

And finally and most importantly, Blake loves Gummi Bears, Batman, and Paul Thomas Anderson movies. He also hates writing in the Third Person more after writing this bio about himself.
