Blake Garris is an Entertainment Producer/Director for Television and the Web as well as a Freelance Writer/Editor/Graphic Designer who hates writing about himself in the Third Person.

He is currently the Manager of Video & Content Production at Marvel Entertainment and a Freelance Television Producer/Director/Production Assistant as well as an Adjunct Professor of Media at the Undergraduate level.

Blake has been a Producer/Director for PBS and a Director at Comcast. He has worked in various capacities for NBC, TLC, MTV, FOX, The Food Network, Showtime, The Travel Channel, CBS Sports, NFL Films, A&E, ESPN2, The Discovery Channel, and many others.

Blake has written features for sites like IGN, AMC and Buzzgrinder amongst others.

He has interviewed artists from Katy Perry, Kristen Bell, Shia LaBeouf, Thomas Lennon, Patton Oswalt, Ernest Borgnine, Lea Thompson and Nick Offerman to musicians such as Death Cab for Cutie, Owl City, My Morning Jacket, Taking Back Sunday, The Hold Steady, 3Oh!3, Washed Out and many more.

Blake received his Master's Degree in Media Arts and has taught Television Production and New Media at the University of South Carolina.

He received an Emmy nomination in 2007 and his documentaries have been featured in numerous film festivals.

And finally and most importantly, Blake loves Gummi Bears, Batman, and Paul Thomas Anderson movies. He also hates writing in the Third Person more after writing this bio about himself.
